SSB Bridge Program
This year we are proud to announce the
SSB/Princeton University Partnership.
This Spring SSB teamed up with Princeton
University upperclassmen Sarah Peteraff,
Shaun Leimback, and Chris Merrick to offer students
from the WInbrook Housing Projects (White
Plains NY), Greenburg, and New Rochelle a
free 5 week SAT Prep course at Princeton
University and the Theodore Young
Community Center in Greenburg.
Anti Mis-Education Curriculum
The SSB Anti Mis-Education workshops offer
a real world curricula with a concentration
on social/education and economic justice
issues.
Get Off the Block!
One of the most effective, paradigm shifting
components of the SSB program is the "Get
off the Block" feature.
It is designed to counter the isolating nature
of social, education and economic injustice,
by providing at risk students exposure to
normative and non normative mainstream
environments, locales and experiences.
